Thank you for visiting my page.
Here, I would like to share with you what I have done, what I am doing, what I am about to do, and what I like to do as a performer.
I was born and raised in the Philippines. I moved to the US to study Vocal Performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Now, I live in Philadelphia, pursuing my dream to make a living as a singer.
So far, I have been blessed to have an active performing career. As an opera singer, I have performed for various companies including Opera Philadelphia, Opera Libera, Opera MODO, Concert Operetta Theater, Poor Richard's Opera, Center City Opera Theater, Opera New Jersey, and Opera in the Ozarks. I have enjoyed playing a wide variety of characters. My favorites include Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore, Pedrillo in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Mayor Upfold in Albert Herring, Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi, and Guillot de Morfortaine in Manon. I have also been fortunate to premiere a number of roles in new operas.
As a concert soloist, I have been featured in a number of large choral works and have performed with orchestras including the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Symphony in C, and the Chestnut Hill Choral Festival Orchestra.
As a professional chorister, I have also been privIleged to sing with excellent vocal ensembles including the Philadelphia Singers, Vox Ama Deus, Singing City, the Archdiocesan Choir of Philadelphia, the choir of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chestnut Hill, Singing City, among many others.
I am also active in the podcast sphere as the producer and content manager of Craft Works Music, a unique podcast with its own in-house vocal ensemble. (Available on iTunes and other podcast repositories)
Life as a classical musician is truly exciting and I am very much honored to share my experience with you.
